The Basics of Orthodox Christianity | Jamey Bennett | Ep. 79

Jamey Bennett, teacher/catechist at a Greek Orthodox Church, is here today to share the basics of Orthodox Christianity and his testimony to the faith.

Jamey was born into a Mormon family but grew up evangelical protestant. In continuing to search for the truth, he explored the Presbyterian and Anglican churches before finally embracing the Orthodox Church as the true church.

Today we're discussing Jamey's major hangups in coming to the faith and the resolutions he found about icons, saints, Mother Mary, "solo scriptura," salvation, predestination, the difference between Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity, and more.
